Our Board has a governance role and sets the vision for the school.

By assisting and supporting the Principal, the board helps define the long-term aspirations and strategy of the school. Specifically, the board is responsible for curriculum and policy, finance, property, health and safety, discipline and the employment and remuneration of senior staff. 

The Board is not responsible for the day-to-day management of the school; this is the responsibility of the school Principal.

A welcoming message from the Board Presiding Member

At their first meeting in 2024 the Board welcomed Jono Hay, the new Tumuaki in our midst.  We are pleased to hear that after an impressive powhiri, he experienced a warm welcome from students, staff and whānau and has literally hit the ground running.
The Board values his fresh pair of eyes looking at our policies and procedures and his considerate approach.

With students and staff refreshed after the long break and the new buildings now in use, there seems to be new energy flowing through the school. We are very hopeful that the interruptions the existing building sites still pose will soon be gone.
