Workshop Technology

Interested in mechanical engineering, automotive technology or related trades or professions?  Golden Bay High School has a great Workshop that caters for a wide range of technology.  Woodwork, metalwork, robotics. Learn basic engineering workshop techniques including cutting, marking out, measuring, joining, assembly and finishing.  In senior classes Students will disassemble and reassemble a petrol car engine and be involved in maintaining the production saloon car.

Workshop Technology also provides students with a well balanced, practically orientated course that develops lifelong skills, stimulating self-esteem, confidence and a pride in paying attention to detail.

Workshop Technology teacher:  Ben Knoef
